THE NEUROEDUCATION AND ITS INFLUENCE ON THE DIDACTICS OF MUSICAL EXPRESSION

Abstract


Due to the diffusion of the several neuroimaging techniques such as the magnetic resonance, the voxel-based morphometry (VBM), the functional Magnetic Resonance (RMf), the resting state resonance and the functional connectivity have allowed us to know what influence the music has on the brain. This knowledge has been of great help to improve educational practices in all educational fields from early childhood education to university education.

In addition, we have also explored how to perform the music processing, reaching the conclusion that this is done in a modular manner. Furthermore, studies on the impact of music on the brain have also allowed us to know and deepen the neural bases of musical processing and interpretation. Accordingly, we have been able to know the effects of musical training in different educational contexts as well as the changes produced as a consequence of this training.

The main conclusion we draw from this work is that the different neuroimaging techniques allow us to know the impact of music on the brain as well as providing tools for improving the educational practice of the didactic of musical expression.
