The Effect of Using Debate Strategy in the Skill of Arguments Evaluation for the First Intermediate Students at Distinguished Schools

Abstract


The present study aims to investigate The Effect of Using Debate Strategy in the Skill of Arguments Evaluation in Teaching Sciences for the First Intermediate Students at Distinguished Schools. The researchers have set up school supplies of teaching material and teaching plans. The study population includes (308) male from first-grade students in the schools of distinguished in the governorates of the Middle Euphrates zone, Republic of Iraq, search sample was identified by school of distinguished in the Al–Qadisiyah governorate randomly, with students’ numbers (53) students were divided into experimental group and control group. The sample has been rewarded in the supplies that would change the results of the experiment. The researchers created school supplies out of teaching plans (32) plan for experimental group and control group, then the researchers used in preparing the construction of tests and measurements of validity and reliability. The results reached the students of the experimental group surpassed the students of control group in the debate strategy.

In the light of the conclusions reached, the researchers came up with a set of conclusions, recommendations and proposals.
